The mold temperature for injection molding PC is 80-100°C, while glass fiber reinforced PC requires a mold temperature of 100-130°C, which is a suitable temperature range. For small products, a pin-shaped gate can be used, and the gate depth should be 70% of the thickest part. Other gates can be circular or rectangular. The injection mold shape should meet the requirements. It is better to have larger gates to minimize defects caused by excessive plastic shearing. To avoid defects, attention should be paid to the design of the gate. The depth of the vent should be less than 0.03-0.06 mm.
